Presented in this lot are three replica Pelé Brazil national team shirts. All three shirts are the same style worn during the World Cup final according to the year that that style would have been worn.

The first is a replica 1958 Brazil national team blue alternate shirt. The entire shirt and collar are blue except for the gold-yellow player number (10) and the CBD logo on the left chest area, the insignia is the traditional yellow, blue, and green shield with the white iron cross inside of it and does not change. This is the exact style of shirt Pelé wore during the 1958 World Cup final and scored two goals to help ensure Brazil’s victory over the Swedish national team. Pelé signed and inscribed this shirt across the abdomen in black marker ink “Pelé 58-Champions”. This shirt comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AA31686).

The second shirt is a 1962 replica Brazil national team shirt. The shirt is a pale yellow with a slightly faded green collar, sleeve ends around the wrist, and player number on the back of the shirt (10). This shirt is a long sleeve and is consistent with the style of shirt they would have worn during Chile’s winter months. The shirt has the signature CBD logo on the left chest of the shirt. Pelé signed this shirt in the center, directly below the collar in black marker ink “Edson=Pelé”. This is the exact style of shirt the Brazilians wore to defeat the Czech national team in a match ending in 3-1. Unfortunately, Pelé did not play in this final due to injury resulting from Brazil and Czechoslovakia’s first encounter prior to the Cup final. This shirt comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AB91362).

The last shirt of this lot is a replica 1970 Brazil national team shirt. This shirt is a much bolder yellow and green shirt than the aforementioned 1962 replica shirt. The shirt has a green collar, sleeve-ends, and player number (10). Unlike the 1958 and 1962 replica shirts there is no collar on this shirt, and the logo is significantly smaller than that of its predecessors. This style of shirt was worn by arguably the best national team to represent Brazil. This is the same team that dominated the famous Italian defense for their third consecutive World Cup win in 4-1 victory. Pelé signed this shirt directly on the middle of the chest in black marker “Pelé”. This shirt comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AB96682).
