This lot features two photographs, one of President Lyndon Banes Johnson which has been signed by Johnson, and the other is an elegant image in front of the American Flag of Vice President Hubert Humphrey.  Both photographs are framed as they have been for nearly a half century ago.  The signature of Lyndon Baines Johnson is accompanied by an inscription reading, “For Steve Martini, from his Friend” and is signed below the photograph in the display on what appears to be matting for display purposes.  The signature of Hubert Humphrey done boldly in black marker rests on the base of the framed photograph and reads, “to Steve Martini, With many good wishes”.  Each signed photo offers a boast of patriotism to anyone’s collection with the very patriotic White House photographs.  The signatures have been authenticated by Beckett Authentication services and are accompanied by individual LOAs.  The lot is also accompanied by a letter of provenance Steve Martini Jr, son of White House Barber Steve Martini who received these signed photographs.
