Ryan Howard was one of the most feared sluggers in the National League. Howard burst onto the scene in 2005, winning the NL Rookie of the Year Award and the NL MVP the following season in 2005 when he hit a career-high and NL-high 58 home runs. Howard retired following the 2016 season with 382 home runs.

Offered here are a collection of game use and signed items from Howard’s career. The first items are a pair of red Adidas game worn cleats. These cleats show outstanding game use. The Adidas three-stripes are on each side and the bottoms have seven metal spikes on each shoe. These cleats have numerous abrasion marks and dirt stains, along with some caked-on dirt on the metal spikes. Howard has signed each cleat twice, once in black marker by the upper outside ankle and once in silver on the outside toe area. He inscribed “6” in black and “05 ROY” in silver.

The next items are a pair of game used batting gloves. These gloves were made by Under Armour and are red with gray palms and accents. “RH6” is embroidered in white on the red wrist strap on the palm side and the Under Armour logo is in white on the outside hand. The gray palms display heavy use with dirt and soling stains. Howard signed each palm in black marker, adding the inscription “6”. The final item is a Ryan Howard Rawlings first baseman’s glove. This glove is all-black and has been signed by Howard in silver marker on the outside thumb next to the Rawlings “R” logo patch. Howard inscribed “6”. This glove is not game use. This lot comes with a LOA from Ryan Howard, a LOA from the Philadelphia Phillies and LOAs from JSA.
