     Baseball’s first steel-and-concrete stadium, Shibe Park (later known as Connie Mack Stadium), housed the Philadelphia Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies for the better part of the 20th century. This photograph shows the iconic southwest tower, which held the offices of the most important members of the Phillies and A’s, including the stadiums namesakes, Ben Shibe and Connie Mack. This photograph is signed by 15 former ball players who played for the A’s and Phillies, including Bill “Swish” Nicholson, Gene Conley, Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn, Bubba Church, Johnny Blatnik, Bobby Del Greco, Elmer Valo, and more. The players signed this photograph in blue pen and this item has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
