Offered is a Steve Carlton signature and inscription on a Hall of Fame logo baseball. The Hall of Fame pitcher has signed his name in black pen on the sweet spot of the Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball, and inscribed “#32 Jersey Retired 7-29-89” below his signature. Carlton was a left-handed pitcher for six Major League Baseball teams from 1965 to 1988, most notably as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies with whom he won four Cy Young Awards as well as the 1980 World Series. The Phillies retired his #32 jersey at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia in ceremonies on July 29, 1989, and Carlton was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1994.
