Former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms was the MVP of Super Bowl XXI as he set a Super Bowl record for completion percentage going 22-25 (88%) as the Giants defeated the Denver Broncos 39-20 at the Rose Bowl. It was the Giants first of four Super Bowl victories in franchise history. Offered is the Official Wilson football with “National Football League New York Giants vs. Denver Broncos Pasadena, CA – January 25, 1987” etched on one panel was presented to Phil Simms for his heroics. This football has one panel painted white with “PHIL SIMMS MVP GIANTS 1-25-87” and “39 20” with the Super Bowl logo. Simms signed his name in black marker on a blank panel and inscribed “#11”. This signed football comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07636).
