     The best pure hitter to ever play baseball, Ted Williams was a mainstay in the Boston Red Sox outfield for 19 seasons. Williams, who has the highest career OBP of any player, slugged a mighty 521 home runs for the Red Sox to go with a .344 career average. Williams was the last hitter to eclipse the .400 mark in a season with his .406 clip in 1941. Teddy Ballgame won two MVP awards and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 with 93.4% of the vote.

     This item is a Sears, Roebuck & Co. Ted Williams model glove signed by Williams. This tan glove features William’s signature on the inside palm edge in black Sharpie. An unknown hand wrote the inscription “Gipper” near the wrist in black Sharpie. This item comes with a JSA LOA (B77874).
