One of the greatest hitters in Major League Baseball history, Hall of Famer Ted Williams was the last player to bat over .400, batting .406 during the 1941 season. A prolific hitter, Williams was a six-time American League batting champion and won the Triple Crown twice while also leading the AL in home runs and RBI four times each during his 19-year career playing for the Boston Red Sox.
