Most often when we see a photograph of Ted Williams, he is in his batting stance or following through on one of his 2,654 hits, but this one is different. In this 16X20 color photo, Ted is smiling as he leans on a batting cage. Williams has signed across his right sleeve in bold blue sharpie. The photo is framed with a red and navy blue matte and mounted in a 22½ X30½ frame. Embedded in the matte beneath the photo is a gold plaque reading “Ted Williams” in black lettering, with a Ted Williams Museum logo to the left and a Boston Red Sox logo to the right. Attached to the back of the frame is a COA from the Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame, and the item comes with a LOA from JSA.
