The track “A Hard Day’s Night” was one of the Beatles’ most popular and beloved tracks, reaching the number one position on both the American and British singles charts after its release in 1964. A malapropism from Ringo Starr gave the song (as well as the movie) its name, while John Lennon wrote the track in one night. This was the fifth of seven songs by the Beatles to chart at number one in a one-year period.
The centerpiece of this framed display is a gleaming gold record, seven inches in diameter, mounted above a RIAA Certified Sales Award plaque that reads “Presented to The Beatles to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Capital Records Single ‘A Hard Day’s Night’”. This item is in excellent condition and comes in a 13.5 x 17.5 inch framed display.
