Tom Brady and the New England Patriots won their third Super Bowl title in 2004, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Brady threw for 236 yards and two scores, and Deion Branch caught 11 passes for 133 yards to earn Super Bowl MVP honors. An Adam Vinatieri field goal midway through the fourth quarter gave the Patriots their winning margin despite a Greg Lewis touchdown grab for the Eagles that brought them within three points with under two minutes left.
