Encapsulated with Autograph Grade MINT 9 by PSA/DNA (Cert. #83916940). A very strong and precise black fountain pen Ty Cobb signature (with his underscoring paraph) graces the obverse side of this unlined, 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" paper piece. A newspaper image of Cobb has been taped to the reverse; this vintage addition is accompanied by the ink notation, "One of the greatest 'bunters' and 'baserunners' of all time." Cobb, a 1936 Hall of Fame inductee as a member of the institution's inaugural class, passed away in 1961.
