Roger Maris, the former single season home run king, is presented here in bobblehead form. Dressed in his home pinstripes, Maris is shown in all of his circa 1961 glory. Maris set the MLB record for home runs during the 1961 season with 61, breaking Babe Ruth’s single-season record of 60 home runs in 1927. Maris played 12 seasons in the Majors as a right fielder, including four with the New York Yankees, and was an American League All-Star from 1959 through 1962, and AL MVP in 1960 and 1961, and an AL Gold Glove winner in 1960. Maris played in seven World Series, five with the Yankees and two with the St. Louis Cardinals. This painted bobblehead is standing on a white pedestal, with his facsimile signature shown on the pedestal.
