Among the most beloved of Chicago sports legends, Walter Payton shares a special place in the hearts of Windy City sports fans alongside Ernie Banks and Andre Dawson and Michael Jordan, but maybe even more because the man they called “Sweetness” really was a sweet guy. This white mesh Chicago Bears jersey has Payton’s number 34 in navy and orange tackle twill on is front and each sleeve which are also ringed in navy, orange and white elastic bands. Payton’s name is in the same navy and orange tackle twill on a nameplate across the back and he signed the second digit of his number 34 on the back in bright silver sharpie with the following series of inscriptions: “34, Sweetness, MVP 1977, Super Bowl XX, HOF 1993” and his career rushing total of “16,726.” Sentimental keepsake comes with Celebrity Appearances Inc.
