Wayne Gretzky earned the nickname “The Great One” for a reason. The dynamic forward, a four-time Stanley Cup champion, is the NHL’s all-time leader in goals (894), assists (1,963) and points (2,857). Gretzky capped his career on Broadway, spending three seasons with the New York Rangers, retiring in 1999 and earning Hockey Hall of Fame honors that same year. Presented here is a New York Rangers jersey signed by Gretzky. The navy alternate jersey features the Rangers Lady Liberty logo across the front in silver, navy, and red tackle twill. The number “99” appears on the sleeves and back of the jersey in red, white, and silver tackle twill. The iconic Rangers logo is sewn-on in white, navy, and red tackle twill on each shoulder. A Koho “Official Licensed Jersey” manufacturing tag is located on the inside of the jersey, with a “Size XL” flag. “KOHO” is sewn across the back collar in white-on-navy tackle twill. “GRETZKY” appears across the back shoulders of the jersey in silver, white, and red tackle twill. Gretzky signed his name along the left rear number “9” in black marker. The jersey is in excellent condition and still contains the KOHO retail tags attached and it comes with an LOA from JSA (BB75732).
