One of the most beloved movies of the 1970’s, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was based on a book by the children’s author Roald Dahl. Gene Wilder’s performance as Willy Wonka, the eccentric head of the chocolate factory, is one of the late actor’s most recognizable roles. This 11 x 14 inch photograph of the cast of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is autographed by six of the cast members, including Wilder. Other signatures include Peter Ostrum (Charlie Bucket), Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt), Michael Bollner (Augustus Gloop), Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregard), and Paris Themmen (Mike Teavee). All of the actors except Wilder inscribed the name of their character under their signature. The signatures and inscriptions were all done in silver Sharpie.
