Louisville Slugger, has a bold Trademark Stamp in the middle with "40FB" model number inside. The decal features Baker's full image with a very light scratch the only blemish. Below the image indicates this bat is a "World's Championship Model," while above Baker's image is the term "Good Night Baker" referring to his historic 1911 World Series performance. However, his last name is completely gone as that portion contains the largest chipped area. However, the bat has great eye appeal and retains much of its original surface gloss. Frank Baker's facsimile signature runs across the base of his portrait, and is lightly affected by some chipping. The quality and design of the decal on the offered example highlights Baker's achievements, offering more information than any other decal bat made of that era. The decal is at least 90-95% intact with only a couple of chipped areas in the field, mostly away from the image of Baker and the captions. Conservatively graded, the decal itself is about EX/MT condition, while the bat itself grades Near Mint. A truly wonderful example of the most distinctive mini bat of that era.
