Official Spalding National League Baseball (Warren Giles, Pres) signed by 30 members of the 1969 World Champion New York Mets. Only 7 seasons after the expansion 1962 Mets lost a major league record 100 games, manager Gil Hodges led his "Miracle Mets" to their first World championship defeating the favored Baltimore Orioles. This ball features Gil Hodges prominently the sweet spot in black fountain pen. Other key signatures include Hall of Famers Yogi Berra, Tom Seaver and Nolan Ryan as well as Tug McGraw, Toomy Agee, Jerry Koosman and Cal Koonce.
