Cabrera made his major league debut in style as he stroked a game-winning home run in this game. The 20 year-old commenced to set the league on fire as he climbed up the Marlins’ batting order before settling in the clean-up spot. His post-season heroics helped drive the Marlins to the World Series victory over the Yankees. Cabrera’s rookie year Louisville Slugger C243 bat is uncracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel exhibits many ball marks and stitch impressions plus blue ink transfers. There are cleat marks visible and the handle has been enhanced to Cabrera’s taste with white adhesive tape. His number “20” is written in silver ink on the knob end and top of the barrel. Cabrera has signed the bat in silver ink between the Louisville Slugger logo and his engraved endorsement. 2 PSA/DNA numbered stickers (U28097 and 1B05344) are affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
