Presented here is a vintage Louisville Slugger JF Hillerich & Son “Mushroom” model bat and is dated to 1905-1911. This model bat better enabled the pre-war batter to achieve a distribution of weight over the entire length of the bat, and was extremely popular when introduced. The model stamp is extremely deep and bold, with the handle exhibiting commensurate wear. This bat is an excellent overall condition given its age.
