Description

Michael Jordan wore these size 13 Nike sneakers during Games 3 & 4 of the 1997 NBA Eastern Conference Finals in which the Chicago Bulls knocked off the Miami Heat 4-1. Jordan averaged 30.2 points during the five-game series as the Bulls would go on to win their fifth NBA title.

These sneakers have a red and black pattern with the red color on the outside and inside edges and the black covering the laces, tongue and heel. The black colored heels have “JORDAN” in red with the slogan “QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER” written vertically and Jordan’s number “23” in black on the lower red portion. These sneakers display appropriate wear and match the style that Jordan wore for the road games during the series.

These sneakers come with a full LOA from Mears, who have graded these sneakers as “AUTHENTIC”. Also included with this lot is a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Jordan’s former teammate Bobby Hansen which states “It is hereby certified that the shoes which accompany this document were worn by Michael Jordan in the Eastern Conference Finals – Bulls vs. Miami.” Lastly, a credit card statement made out to the American Cancer Society from their charity auction in which these shoes were offered and won.
