Lot #5: 2004 Albert Pujols Game Used and Photo Matched World Series Fielders Glove Also Used During 2005 MVP Season (Player LOA and PSA/DNA)

Perennial all-star and future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols used this Rawlings professional model PROCMHCTLSO first baseman’s glove during the 2004 and 2005 Major League seasons for this St. Louis Cardinals in which he won the first of his the three league MVP awards in 2005 and appeared in the 2004  World Series.

The glove was manufactured for Pujols in April of 2004 as Rawlings’ year code “ECEC” is stamped to the left of the wrist strap. “Albert Pujols” is embroidered in red and located above the “Rawlings” tag while his children “A.J.” and “Isabella” are also embroidered in red on the top of the thumb.

The tan colored 12 ¾ glove shows excellent game use and is constructed of top grade ‘Heart of the Hide’ leather bound with rawhide laces and the palm has “Deer Tanned Cowhide” with an adjustable fleece lined wrist strap and a traditional two-piece web.

This historic glove was given by Pujols to then teammate Einar Diaz, who has signed a letter of authenticity from that accompanies this glove. The glove has been photo-matched to being worn by Pujols for the 2004 season, the 2004 World Series, and the beginning of his first MVP season in 2005. This item also comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA authenticating its game use.
