Lot #3: 2014 Mike Trout MVP Season Game Used Glove Used During Entire Regular Season, During All Star Game (MVP)And First Playoff Appearance!! (PSA/DNA, Trout LOA, JSA)

Description

A human highlight reel making plays-of-the-day on a daily basis, there never has been a rookie that burst onto the scene with such an immediate impact as Los Angeles Angels centerfielder Mike Trout who finished second in American League MVP voting in his first two big league seasons of 2012 and 2013, and winning the AL MVP in 2014.

This Nike Diamond Elite Pro 12.75 DNP glove displays evidence of outstanding use and is the one we’ve seen Trout using to make so many of his leaping over-the-wall snatches and full-extension diving grabs. Trout used this glove during the entire 2014 season, which included the All-Star Game and the post-season. This well-worn closed-back glove with index finger hole is broken-in to Trout’s specifications with a red Nike swoosh and the outline of a home plate stitched into the pocket. Japanese influenced designed glove is made from Okayama Kip leather and features a 12.75” outfielders’ cut with a sixth-finger “Trap-Eze” style web that creates a deeper more secure pocket.

There is a red and white home-plate-shaped Nike swoosh logo patch on the back of the thumb next to Trout’s facsimile signature and number 27 stitched in red. “Oiled Kip Leather” trademark logo is branded on interior pinky with “Impact Control Heel” at the bottom of the palm. Trout signed the glove on the back of its forefinger in bright silver marker with “14 G/U” and “AL MVP” inscriptions. This serious piece of black cowhide comes with LOA from Mike Trout as well as an LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00284) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Y36298) for his signature and inscriptions.
