Lot #1234: 1990-91 Chicago Bulls Game Used & Team Signed Chicago Stadium Floor Piece With 12 Signatures Including Michael Jordan (Bulls LOA & Beckett)

Description

After previous attempts to knock off the “Bad Boys” Detroit Pistons of the late 1980’s, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls finally overcame their nemesis to advance to the first NBA Finals in franchise history in the 1990-91 season. Facing Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals, Jordan and the Bulls won the series in five games to win the first championship in team history. This season was the first of three consecutive NBA titles for the Bulls, as well as marking the beginning of the legendary Bulls Dynasty, which would net the team another five more championships throughout the 1990s.

Offered here is a 12 x 12-inch wood floor piece from the famed Chicago Stadium that was used in the 1990-91 season. This floor piece is 1 ½-inches thick with a metal border on one side. This floor piece has been signed by 12 members of the first championship team in Bulls history. All of the signatures have been signed in black marker and include Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, along with John Paxson, Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant, Craig Hodges, Dennis Hopson, Stacey King, Cliff Levingston, Will Perdue, Scott Williams and Johnny Bach. An incredible piece of Bulls’ history both on the floor and in the pen and this comes with a LOA from the Chicago Bulls authenticating that this floor piece was used at Chicago Stadium during the 1990-91 season and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
