Lot #17: 1995 Cal Ripken Jr. Game Worn, Signed & Inscribed Baltimore Orioles Warm-Up Pants for Consecutive Game #2130 (Ripken LOA)

Description

Before Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. could break Lou Gehrig’s historic consecutive games played streak, he would have to tie him. That’s exactly what Ripken did when he suited up for the 2,130th consecutive time on September 5th, 1995 against the California Angels. These is the very warm-up pants worn by Cal pre-game when he tied Lou Gehrig’s historic consecutive games streak on September 5th, 1995. These offered pants are white with black piping on each side leg and were made by Russell Athletic. These size 37 pants display excellent use with dirt stains, team repairs and fading. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the inside back waist. There is a yellow identification tag clipped to the inside waist tag that reads “005.001.016 2130 pants bag19”. These pants have recently been signed and inscribed "9-5-95" and "#2130" by Cal in black marker on the upper left leg and come directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and a signed LOA from Cal will accompany these historic pants.
