Hall of Famer and baseball Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. hit his 300th career home run on May 24th, 1994 when he took Milwaukee Brewers’ pitcher Teddy Higuera deep for a key 3-run home run in the top of the 3rd inning. Ripken’s blast brought the Orioles within a run after Milwaukee jumped out to an early 5-0 lead. The Orioles would tack on 9 more runs as they would cruise to a 13-5 victory County Stadium in Milwaukee. This offered Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball was the very ball Ripken hit for his milestone 300th career home run and comes directly from the personal collection Cal Ripken, Jr. This ball displays solid game use with stains and abrasion marks. Ripken has signed his name in bold blue pen on the bottom of the north panel and below his signature is inscribed “Home Run #300 5-24-94”. The sweet spot has “300th HR” in bold black marker across the sweet spot and the south panel has handwritten in black marker “At Milwaukee 8:18 P.M. County Stadium Ted Higuera 5/24/94”.
