Encapsulated with Autograph Grade GEM MT 10 by PSA/DNA. Hall of Famer. A splendid, vintage black fountain pen signature has been placed at the center aspect of this postcard-sized piece. Walter Johnson has added an inscription, "Mgr Washington Senators / Sept 14, 1932," detailing the date of the signing and his role in Major League Baseball at the time. The unprinted paper item has retained a clean surface, and a period newspaper photo of the fireballer is adhered to the front's top-right corner. Johnson, a charter Cooperstown enshrinee in 1936, passed away in 1946.
