On July 9, 2014, Yahoo Sports wrote an article about how Erick Aybar was known for borrowing some of Albert Pujols’ bats. Given Aybar used Pujols bats and probably had some made close to Pujols’ specifications, it is not surprising to find Pujols would have used this ‘AP5L-LDM Custom Cut’ Marucci bat ordered by Aybar.

    

Pujols used this Aybar bat in the top of the first to face Cody Martin during the September 1, 2015 game against Oakland. As can be seen on the bat here, Pujols made contact and cracked the bat. A great gamer from one of the game's greatest active players. COA (HZ146299) from MLB.
